Portuguese Mouldmaking Industry at INTERPLASTICA 2009
According to Messe Dusseldorf, the fair’s organizing body, the stakes were high before the event took place, and they were fulfilled in the end, by the numerous business contacts established by the majority of the companies during the four days’ fair.
The INTERPLASTICA 2009 fair took place, for the 12th time, at the Krasnya Presnya pavilion in Moscow. There were approximately 900 exhibitors occupying an area of about 19 000 sq. m. There were about 20 500 visitors at the INTERPLASTICA 2009 fair, which took place between the 27th and the 30th of January.
It is important to point out the several National Pavilions’ participations from countries such as Portugal, Austria, China, France, Germany, Italy or Turkey. The German committee was the most representative, with 149 companies, followed by Russia with 147 and Italy with 102.
At this year’s INTERPLASTICA fair, 10 Portuguese companies took part in the event alongside CEFAMOL: LN Moldes, Moldit, Moldoplástico, Moldworld, Moliporex, On Time, Socem, Somema, Tecmolde and Topo.
INTERPLASTICA’s 2009 fair is the first Portuguese Mouldmaking’s international promotion event of the current year from CEFAMOL's “Engineering & Tooling from Portugal” project’s agenda.
The next edition of the INTERPLASTICA fair is already scheduled and is set to January 2010, in Moscow, and is again taking place together with the UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA fair.
