ENGINEERING TOOLING in the Farnborough Airshow in 2010

In the strategy of market diversification advocated by the Pole of Competitiveness and Technology Engineering and Tooling, the Pool-Net Association, in close coordination with Cefamol and the Working Group constituted for the approach to the Aeronautical Industry, promote the presentation and integration of nine companies of the Sector in the National Pavilion, which will be present at the Farnborough Airshow in 2010.


The coordination of the National Pavilion at this fair, which was held between July 19 and 25, on London surroundings, was in charge by AICEP, counting with the participation of 42 national organizations (among companies, universities and other institutions) that constitute the National Aerospace Cluster. The Pavilion was located in Hall 4 - Stand E3, occupying a total area of 324 m2.

 

This event aims to promote the ‘Engineering and Tooling from Portugal’ Brand in one of the largest and most important world fairs dedicated to this industry, being in our stand the following companies: Edaetech, Incompol, Lismolde 2, LN Moldes, Moldes RP, Moldoeste, Olesa, Set e Uepro.

 

Besides Pool-Net, the organization of this participation also had the support of the Pernas, Danotec and Proespaço Associations, in addition to national benchmark companies in this area, such as OGMA or TAP.

 

The main objective of this intervention is the demonstration of skills and competencies in the national industry in Aeronautic, Defense and Space areas, being already scheduled to continue this promotion in June 2011, at the International Aeronautical and Space Saloon in Le Bourget in Paris, the world’s largest event dedicated to this industry.
