CEFAMOL organizes on 24th September, the seventh edition of the "Moldes Portugal" Conference, an event which the Patronage is of the Portuguese Presidency, presenting itself as a forum for reflection and debate on key trends and prospects for the development of Engineering and Tooling Industry.

Jointly organized by CEFAMOL – Portuguese Association for the Mould Industry, CENTIMFE – Technological Center for the Mouldmaking, Special Tooling and Plastics Industries and POOLNET – Portuguese Tooling Network, will be held from September 20th to 24th, 2010, in Marinha Grande and Oliveira de Azeméis, the Moulds Event 2010.

Jointly organized by CEFAMOL – CEFAMOL – Portuguese Association for the Mould Industry, CENTIMFE - Technological Center for the Mouldmaking, Special Tooling and Plastics Industries, will be held from September 20th to 24th, 2010, in Marinha Grande and Oliveira de Azeméis, the Moulds Event 2010.

The Clusterplast project, the inter-cluster European initiative that brings together clusters in the areas of the value chain of Moulds and Plastics Industries, from France, Portugal, Austria, Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic will promote in June 28 and 29 the conference "Towards a common European and Regional strategy for the plastic clusters," in Lyon / Charbonnières - Rhône-Alpes, France.

Following the success of previous biennial editions dating back to 1998, Marinha Grande and Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal, will again be the setting for a new set of joint initiatives presented under the auspices of Cefamol, the Portuguese national association for the moulding and mould making industry and Centimfe, Portuguese Technological Centre for Moulds, Special Tooling and Plastics Industry.

This International Conference allowed international experts and entrepreneurs to debate and reflect over the main trends and prospects of world mouldmaking industry.

The two main centres in the national mouldmaking sector, Marinha Grande and Oliveira de Azeméis, organized the fifth edition of Moulds Event, between November 13th and 17th. The event converged more than 700 participants from 12 European countries, Brazil and the Unites States of America. During a week, the event held a series of seminars, debates and presentations on key-subjects that the sector faces at world scale.

On the last September 28, CEFAMOL promoted a “Round Table” where was discussed the “Financing of New Business Models” and whose targets were executives and managers of the Moulds and Special Tools Industry.

The last September 21, a “Round Table” about “Market and New Business Opportunities” took place in Cefamol and had the presence of 40 participants, namely moulds companies’ executives and managers.

From 27 to 29 June in Melbourne Australia, the annual World Meeting was held for ISTMA - International Special Tooling & Machining Association, the World Mould Association, consisting of the three regional sections – ISTMA Europe, ISTMA Americas and FADMA/ISTMA Asia – currently representing worldwide 25 of the national associations from the moulds, special tools and precision machining industries.
